My Memory Poem by John Carter Brown

My Memory

Rating: 5.0

If only I could remember
Even half the things I've read,
The poring o'er of countless books
To fill my empty head
With half a chance of knowledge,
My life with which to live,
But no such luck, for I am cursed
With a memory like a sieve.
