Many a wound have I had;
Many a drop of blood have I bled;
Many a globule of tears have I shed;
An ocean of sorrow have thus been bred.
Some of the wounds to the hills had I passed;
Some of the drops of blood into the soil had I cast;
Some of the globules of tears to the clouds had I thrust;
But none of my offerings any of them touched.
The hills returned the wounds, the soil drops of blood;
The clouds gave back tears which caused a flood.
The flood rushed in terrific motion
Into a vast vast ocean.
All my agonies and sufferings
Melted into the waters
Which became blue in pains.
And I floated a white wooden boat
Into the blue blue waters
Of pangs
And pains
Of sorrows.
I liked the poem describing the sorrows and pains what is heart felt.
All my agonies and sufferings Melted into the waters Which became blue in pains. And I floated a white wooden boat Into the blue blue waters Of pangs And pains Of sorrows. I really enjoyed the poem - uneasy ideas in easy words.
a very good poem intense with emotion and a very good flow that is structured quite well.
Nice and very poetic of describing sorrows and pain. Somehow in retrospect a lot of our sorrows get something supernatural in them They go and come back in different forms and shapes and yet we yearn and learn acceptance and detachment. We let them go and actively replace them. Very thought provoking poem. It really got me thinking. excellent!
Sad, but beautiful rendition of sorrow. Love your image of the white wooden boat floating on top of all the pain and sorrow. A poetical way to deal with it all, very creative. Thank you, RoseAnn
Poetry is a good medium for expressing our feelings. You have written this well. I hope you continue to ride your white boat until it reaches the shore. Irene
