Nimezaliwa leo, ndugu yangu siamini,
Wapo waloisubiri hii siku wa'uliza naja lini,
Yupo yule alonipa hifadhi na mieziye tisa kwake tumboni.

Hakika shukrani kwake sitomsahau, mama jamani!

Uchungu kaupata hatimaye mie leo natamba duniani,

Mungu mwenyezi u wa zaidi sinacho nikupe nini!

Ndugu na marafiki wa dhati hakika nakupendeni.

Leo hii sinazo nguvu ningalikutembeleeni,
Maziwa yangu mdomoni nagaagaa kitandani,
Nakushukuruni kwa Upendo japo sina nepi wala pini.
Nipo tu kumbukumbuni na wakti huu natembea mtaani.
