Night Poem by Julinda Mia

Drink in the night air.
Can you feel it there?

A night of mystery and love.
A night with a miracle sent form above.

Do you want to run with me?
run into the night?
Or do you want to stay right here?
shivering from fright.

Do you want to run with me?
to the black portal and beyond?
Or stay right here and sit and
wish you would have gone?

Some see fear in the black of the night.
It liberates my soul making me feel right.

The Vampires and Monsters hiding around every corner.
The Ghouls and Ghosts and the occasional mourner.

The sudden chill that numbs me down to my bone.
I could stand here and not care if I'm alone.

A sudden blast of wind right into my face.
There's just something that sets you free in this place.

Somewhere in the distance I hear a bird arisin'
And just a speck of light peaking over the horizon.

Well I guess this, like all things must come to an end.
But we'll meet again tomorrow my friend.
