Night
I couldn't see right,
Cause I didn't have any sight.
It was so absolutely dark.
There was no sound, not even the song of a lark.
My heart stopped fluttering.
Things stopped singing.
People stopped colluding.
The sky a dark canopy closing in.
Oh the fright of that night.
I couldn't imagine,
This could be.
I was lost in life.
Then came a sliver of light,
That slightly lifted the night.
Now I felt ease not fright.
It was now sunlight not night.
