No More Talk To Poem by Baharak Barzin

No More Talk To

No more talk to a hunger
About nothing but food

No more talk to the sun
About nothing but sunflowers

No more talk to the death skull
About nothing but flesh

No more talk to a lover
About nothing but love

Am I so cruel?
To make things stay?

The super-confident, almost regal tone of speech repeated with variations in stanzas 1-5 impresses me. But what does it lead to? I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the speaker is asking that people let go of what they are fixed on and understand well enough. Then new things will arrive, new interests come about. And the challenge will excite new activity.

Well, i believe that you understood it very well, yes we need to let things go but they are not gonna pass us by,
