Nuggets Of Wisdom.No.9. On Sloth Poem by Valsa George

Nuggets Of Wisdom.No.9. On Sloth

Rating: 4.8

With age comes Sloth
A companion to loathe
But sadly we hold him dear
And let him rule as our sire
As a door is fastened to its hinge
The lazy are tied to their lounge
When the diligent will prosper
Sure, the lazy will suffer

In our hearts, never let him nest
But drive him like a pest
Or else you’ll rust!
Know, life is not to rest!
