O, The Man Poem by akram saqib

O, The Man

Rating: 3.1

Crane and vultures zoom in the air
Finding smell of dead humanity
Also on the waste land is the bear
Sharpening his teeth on the poverty
Lions are there and the elephants
Trying their power over the delicate
Wild hounds behind the scents
Of the poor stags to annihilate
The heavenly knights have gone sleep
After drinking from the treacherous lake
In sound slumber can not creep
The horrendous dreams to awake
Raise thy hands together to pray
For keeping the beasts within away

It is true we need prayers for our lives and other important things in this world to be secured. An interesting poem with lovely description.
