This is excellent Haiku...3-6-5. I am very happy that you do not choose, with this one, to follow the strict 5-7-5. The old Haiku Masters seldom did! In fact, one of the best Haiku I've read by a Master had a total of 19 syllables. Some, less than 17. Great! Poignant. Near to the reader.xxElysabeth
