This is excellent Haiku...3-6-5. I am very happy that you do not choose, with this one, to follow the strict 5-7-5. The old Haiku Masters seldom did! In fact, one of the best Haiku I've read by a Master had a total of 19 syllables. Some, less than 17. Great! Poignant. Near to the reader.xxElysabeth (Report) Reply

After

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
