When a bird sings in sheer delight,
It doesn't care who listens to her.
As it perches on a tree from a flight
Its mates and peers flock together.
When it sings, at times they respond
In kind, at times they just be there.
A few of them might just abscond,
While most would sit as if in a prayer.
Just like a bird I too keep singing,
Unperturbed, if anyone is listening.
Oh my friends, where have you been?
Why do I not hear you too sing?
Birds and bards have often shared
Natures delight and life's agonies.
In their melodious choirs harmonized
Are some of life's sweetest symphonies.

Poets and Birds are one of a feather, After all, the first pens were quills, That enabled them to sing together. Loved this poem, especially: In their melodious choirs harmonized, Are some of life's sweetest symphonies Bull's Eye or Should I say Bird's Eye? So sweet, enjoyed.
