Sometimes tis better
to not know the answers
Better to not know
what’s on the other side of the fence
Oft times tis better
To live in the not knowing
To allow one’s imagination
To indulge in suspense
Sometimes it’s better
The fact of not knowing
To let others enlighten us
Of the truth, not pretense
Sometimes tis better
To be dumb and be blind
To not see or to hear
What might torment one’ sense
Sometimes tis better
And oft times less bitter
Since oft times not knowing
tis one’s only defense
Sometimes tis better
To dwell in the darkness
To be a bit unenlightened of…
What’s on the other side of the fence
