On This Soil Poem by VICTORIA HEIM

On This Soil

On This Soil

On the Soil
Dwells
The People
Many Nations
Within One Nation
On this Soil
Flies Our Flag
With Colors of red, white and blue
Red, the sacifice of dying in battle
White, the pure love that flows from faith
Blue, for the freedom of expression
On this Soil, called America
Courageous citizens, hear within their hearts
The echo of the ringing Liberty Bell
The voices of Democracy
Celebrate our diversity
On this Soil
The Life of the Land
is perputuated by Righteousness
