Once Done To Do Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Once Done To Do

Once done To do,
If effective.
Should not be repeatedly,
Attempted to introduce as new.
And even if it is,
Original and unlike anything else.
An expectation becomes expected.
Neglecting its innovation.
Left taken for granted,
As an ease to deliver...
What others perceive,
To have less quality to produce.
Only time can give,
That which is rare remembered...
Genuine.
