oh! hot is breeze on my face
sweat forming on my forehead
cold water is welcome to ease
thirst crawling in my throat
shelter beneath canopy, tress
few more yards from busy street
i wish clouds come to, to rescue
been like this couple of days ago
i can hear dry leaves dragging
across dry sand i am standing
a distant heron by shallow pond
awaits patiently for fish to come
warmness has reach sole of my shoes
i have to walk where some grass rows
crow saw me, crowed and she flew
telling me repeatedly what should i do
am but hard headed man who listen less
doing things that my mind could please
The hardships and uneasy feelings caused by them on a sunny afternoon have been marvelously pictured in this equally marvelous poetic expression. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
