This road we've taken has been a most happy one.
A year's travel has left no regrets, just joy and ease.
It's easy to love you because you bring such peace.

As we mark our journey's year's end,
Let's ponder this conclusion for our future:
We cannot be for each other life's everything.
Life is far too tumultuous and complex for that.
But we can continue to be, if we allow it,
What we have for each other this blessed year been.
Let us be then for each other life's most important thing:
Love.
