Opening Christmas Season Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Opening Christmas Season

Christmas at Outlaws in Carefree, lights on the tree outside,
a fire burning brightly, people standing by it, getting warmed
up in the darkness.

Cold Front taking a short break to drink something, their
throats parched from singing one song after another, a great
start just before the Christmas season opens on Monday.

December 17th, our anniversary, many years together now,
enjoying our sons, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family
a peaceful calm feeling of tranquility, lying down in the
beauty of it all.
