Opening Up Darkness Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Opening Up Darkness

Opening up darkness, shining an interior light of faith into it's shadows, taking steps to move into another place where time and strife will not enter.

Watching and knowing that hidden secrets have no reason to be hidden any longer, because all is taken out of context and removed from a mind.

Filling it instead with an imaginational reality that somehow takes the place of unreasonable meanings of this temporary earthly life.

Sunny days bringing forth a light and airy bliss that can chase away the blues, turning them instead into moments of delivery unexpectedly, but always welcome.

Many times hardship enters the equation, taking us out of our mind and reacquainting intellect with the beauty and wonder of a brighter day.

Anticipating an increased inquisitiveness that'll be formed in puzzle pieces of another time and place, somewhere in the future among misty clouds above.
