Optimistic Poem by Jayvin George

If i threated tomorrow and poked at next week with a couple of knives.
Maybe the month would fly away into the great blue skies.
Would it return before its time to show up.
Or leave us alone because we are too far gone & too corrupt.
If it skips town for a year then you will never see life.
Or do you want it to come and endure the pain of the world its like a double sided knife.
You want the joy without the pain.
But joy without pain would be simply insane.
For you to be happy you must first be sad.
But it seems that when you get sad everything that was ever good turns bad.
So now your stuck in a catch twenty two.
The next move is based on your actions and only you.
The dark world tries to suck you into its valleys of hell.
But i try to escape so like a lost boat at sea i sail.
Trying to find someone who sees things the way i do.
But goodness how hard this can get you don’t have a clue
