Others Have Suffered Poem by Shalom Freedman

Others Have Suffered

Rating: 5.0

Others have suffered
What you so fear to suffer
And still live
Others have suffered
What you would rather die than suffer
And still live
Others have gone through far worse
Than you have been ever close to
True there is a lot to fear
But that won't help
And there is always trying to learn
From the courage of others example.

The sufferings diminish once the mind is trained to be a stoic. In eastern philosophy related to Hinduism it is called as accepting a state of no desires\ expectations from any one (Vanprasthashram and then Sanyas) it helps in removing every type of fear. Thanks for sharing.10 points.

Good point but its the intimacy with true causes of one's own that a personality concedes to.
