We ‘Trip the Light Fantastic, '
As through our Life we go,
Meandering thru' Twists and Turns,
As we live our Life real slow.
We ponder on what we've learnt,
And recall our memories
Of places seen and people met,
And how we have lived our dreams.
We think of friendships we've made,
And of people we've upset,
And hope we can make amends,
And that people will forget.
We trundle onwards patiently,
Trying to live as friends,
With everyone we've met or meet,
In the Country or the street.
The way that we have lived our lives,
Will be judged at the end of days,
By Our Father In Heaven who created us,
So now we should make our amends.
