Our Sun. Poem by Konstantin Ananin

Our Sun.

- The sun wakes up in the East.
It goes to sleep in the West.
And we say it rises,
Or we say it sets.
- It’s 10 a.m., the sun has risen.
- Of course, it hasn’t set yet.
It’s summer now, Lizzie,
Late we can see the sunset.
Six months ago the sun rose very late,
But, you remember, very early it set.
- Why Dad?
__________- It was winter, Kate.
The sun was always tired and went to bed.
