I never knew you, but I looked at your beautiful face.
So small, so fair, too pure to embrace,
You are not a stranger, for we are so strongly connected,
You are forever within my heart, forever protected,
For there you will stay, for there you still are,
You were so near, and now you’re so far.
Patrick, my brother, you never had the time,
To walk through this world that is now mine,
Alone to face it, but with you in my mind,
I shall take on the chances, I know you’re behind
Me always, forever, I’ll do it for you,
Patrick, my brother, I’ll do it for you.
