People Should Be Food Poem by Ramona Thompson

People Should Be Food

So sick of the same old, same old
Chicken, steak, and pizza
It's all the same
Bland and boring
Without flavor
Just ain't got no kick to it
Leaving a hollow, empty feeling in the pit of my stomach
Until I begin to think
Smiling as I'm hit by a new idea
A new way to spice up my love life with dinner
Something everybody should give a try
A way to make sure that our dead and buried won't go to waste
Here it is
New, stunning, and brilliant
Feel free to tell me just what you think about it
My idea my friends is this
Don't you think it would be just so damm great if......?
People were food!

Never would have to go hungry again
We could feed a whole army
Hell, we could fed the whole damm world
If only you would open your minds and your mouths to a whole new
menu
A new and better way
The diet of the future is this
Simplastic cannibalstic
Surpised that no one has ever thought of it before
One taste and I promise that you'll be hooked
Never ever ask for anything else
From this moment on no hamburgers or fries for you
Only humanburgers will do
Arms and legs fried, baked or just plain served raw
With a side of butter and a glass of red wine or white if you prefer
What could be better then this?
Such a yummy treat
Even your kids will beg to eat more
Please tell me if you don't agree
People should be food!

Calling my local grocer now
Asking them to please, please carry a new line of products
Oh so tasty and delicious
Nothing else I'm sure will ever be able to come close
Going mad just thinking about it
Might even write a cookbook about it
A forbidden desire
A secret craving hidden within
Good to eat and good for you too
Lifting a glass in a toast
Here's to the future of man
Here's to the best meal that I'm sure any of us will ever have
Human flesh
Dipped in honey or barbecued
Anyway that you like it
It just can't be beat
Even got the president singing its praises as he signs the new bill
to declare.....
People should be food!

Zombies been doing it for years on the big and small screen
So who are we to turn away gagging at the sight if we have't even
given it a try?
Wanna lost some weight?
Then do this
Eat some of your loved ones
Believe me, they would really want you to
Much better then laying rotting
6 feet under the ground
That's no way to honor their memories
A much greater pleasure indeed would be to have them on your plates
At the dinner table
Chowing down
You would make them all so proud
Using your knife and fork just like proper ladies and gentlemen of polite
society
Remember your manners and please, please don't chew your
father with your mouth open
Raised better then that and you know it
You know how to act
This is the way I see many a meal time to come
Elbows on the table
Enjoyed all around the world

Bringing family and friends together everywhere
I think.......
People should be food

Tell me..........Don't you think so too?
