Pictures You Will Never Be Seen In Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Pictures You Will Never Be Seen In

There's nothing left to say, life has ended for you
and I have nothing left but the memories you have
given me through the years.

Yet, our sons are still here, waiting for me to
continue making memories for them and their children,
giving them their moments to treasure.

Precious and lasting, tears flowing, knowing that you
won't be a part of their present and future memories
anymore.

It's tearing my heart apart, for there's nothing I
can do, except remember you with love, as I stand here
in pictures that you will never be seen in.
