PIERO DELLA FRANCESCA Poem by Héctor Rojas Herazo

PIERO DELLA FRANCESCA

He polishes a geometrical crystal
and harmonizes the wind and the smile.
Bodies are concentrated in their weight and certainty
in fine chambers where the air
thinks the light in silvery folds.
And in a symmetrical edge, without ardor,
each man is the monarch of himself
within the limit of his own gesture.
