Poetess Mary Shine's Experience Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Poetess Mary Shine's Experience

A couple from Co Cork passed away from cancer within minutes of each other after 32 years of marriage.Tom and Mary Forde both died in their sleep at Bantry General Hospital on Saturday. The pair were both battling cancer, with Mary recently moved from Cork University Hospital so she could be with her husband in her final moments. They were laid to rest in a joint funeral service in Drimoleague on Monday. Mary's brother-in-law Richie Fitzgerald said their passing almost seemed like fate. He told The Echo: "Mary rallied and rallied."She had been diagnosed with cancer before but this was a short battle. In the end, they both died in their sleep within 40 mins of one another. "We're not sure if that was meant to be, but it looked that way."sent to me by Poetess Mary Shine

I know Mary Shine. She gave only comments on your poems, Dr. Tony. I knew her from Poetfreak or....was it Facebook? But this news is true sad. The couple committed euthanasie, I am sure. My spouse is a medical specialist and perhaps that action is prohibited in Ireland(?) but not in my country, Dr. Tony. this is not fate but euthanasie.(ending life with the help of doctors, that's why this couple was sent to a hospital to lay side by side.
