Pope Ii - Unconditional Love Poem by Florida Angel

Remembrances of Pope II my heart shacked,
so many thoughts I had of his past moments
and example of humbleness.
Bending himself to the ground of each Countries he landed to kiss,
Praying with the one who tried to kill him and asking GOD for his forgiveness,
to have his personal notes burned, not wanting to leave anything behind,
besides His Thank You for Life. Burned were also his dreams
of Peace for the third millennium, so many his sacrifices,
So much pain in life he lived Hoping to help humanity reach Harmony.

Still he lived to see terrible things and died on a time,
When humans still were killing other humans and going to war.
For forgiveness he so much prayed and asked to GOD upon our souls.
To live in Truth he said is worth any sacrifices.

May Earth survive to live beyond this time of human blindness,
and make of his dreams of Peace in life a valuable principle respected by all of any race, language, sex, handicap, religion, family status, and national origin making of the differences a divine Blessing of Equal rights of life and freedom.

May the rain from the sky be God's blessings upon us ALL
so we may surpass this time and learn and live
the true meaning of Unconditional LOVE.
