Puppy-Hiding >>> Poem by Manonton Dalan

Puppy-Hiding >>>

Rating: 5.0

I was holding her skirt
wrapping my face with it
matching her step by step
I listen, remember all said
though I can't write it yet
I watch cobblestones comes
to seams, so tight, no weeds
very long walk, hurts my feet

I feel tag on my shirt I see
hand reaching with ice cream
my tiny fingers got hold of it
a prize for being quiet, I know
I mess my face, use her skirt
two nails meet between my skin
I didn't cry though I feel pain
shut my ears, ignore what's coming
