Pushing Limits Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Pushing Limits

Deep down, into depths of my interior,
I hide from life and those around me.
Listening to the words I need to hear
from myself, heeding no one else's.
Figuring pieces of my essence as one
would a jigsaw puzzle.
Many times nothing seems to fit, yet
I persist in pushing it to the limits.
This is what I need, I guess.
