Questions And Concerns Poem by Andy Pandy

Questions And Concerns

i found a hole in the center of the world
sat and watched as it swallowed every ocean
and i built a castle on the shore
a shelter for the fish that were now homeless

and i saw the ghost of every wave
wondering if all their souls were saved
and if the good lord had a garden
i'd eat from every tree
so the only one to blame it on is me

so i wrote a letter in the sand
and told all my friends i'd stay devoted
i read their list of demands
if there's a problem i assure you it's been noted

and i started preparing for the storm
but i'm not sure i need an anchor anymore
because if jesus walked on water
i think i at least could swim
i sure as hell would hate to drown again
