Racism Poem by Anna Atchison

Racism

You look at her in disgust.
Your eyes fill with hate and you just want to faint.
She isn't who you want to see,
She isn't the person you think she should be.
Can't we be equal,
Stop with the evil.
You don't know her struggles, you don't know her pain.
Blame goes to her,
You just laugh.
Racism.
This is what this world has come to.
Judging by skin,
You don't know where she's been.
Leave her be,
And set her free!
