Eyes hooded
sinewy wings spread wide,
the falcon sights -
a brief uneven tussle
and the deed is done.
Bruised and battered
the very doorway of life
lies tattered
and vandalized.
Centuries declare
man-male has rabidly seized so
every flutter of defenseless and frail.
Insensate being!
how low, how very low
he's stayed
on the evolutionary scale.
She
will never now warm
to a true embrace
She
will sense her unborn child quiver
in the birth canal
and shudder as
its tiny shoulder shrinks
from her mindscars.
For though with time
the trickle of blood has sealed;
the pain ebbed and bruises healed
what will never ever mend
is the plunder of her soul.
Off with the bandit's gizmos!
hit hard below the belt
Let his seedlings squirm
in baffled unspent return
Let him live
the shame, the helplessness
and pain of the prey.
Sad. There is something seriously wrong with human laws. Thanks

I would like to translate this poem
The pain and the stigma suffered by a rape victim is a telling commentary on the inverted mind-set of our society and lackadaisical approach of our law enforcement agencies and the judiciary. The seriousness of the crime has been forcefully portrayed by the poet. Thanks. what will never ever mend is the plunder of her soul. Off with the bandit's gizmos!
