New Age Woman
She's on the move
carving new paradigms
Laurels for your mother!
his mother! my mother!
his grandson's mother!
And me?
He Sun! She moon?
No! Blasphemy!
Lampoon myths -
blue-white, far off and cold!
Now just think a joyful red
to let show her warm sanguinity.
She's not just body and bust,
acknowledge the power
she holds within -
to engender, to breed,
to‘make a name live
He came from the warmth of the womb
not she from some spindly ribs.
In this bubble of Twitter and Facebook
it is time for a deeper look
at ripples spirited and brisk -
It's another dawn now. Quick!
It's the age of the new age woman.
She's ageless; straddling timezones;
Pounding countless myths.
Mark the buoyant miscellany
and say a liturgy to this amazing being
she's the ultimate - she's the marvel queen.
Wonderful lines accompanied by a majestic picture.Both of them won my heart!
