Refreshing Scents Of Nature Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Leaves of trees gently swaying from branches, dancing in
afternoon desert breezes, enjoying refreshing scents of
nature surrounding them.

A saguaro cactus sharing a median with them, breezes
flowing through their prickly needles, blowing away dust
of the desert from them effortlessly.

Sun shining on them, creating shadows that sway upon the
saguaro as it stands there at attention day and night,
seeming to be a motion picture screen.

Displaying antics of the trees as their leaves dance to
rhapsodies of afternoon breezes in the few hours of light
left before an evening darkness falls, covering them gent-
ly in their beds of nature.
