Relieving Stress Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Relieving Stress

Living on edges of everything that I am able
to, reaching for clouds, wanting to hop into
another time and dimension as life stresses
me out.

Nothing better for relieving stress than to
stress your being even more by sky diving, let-
ing your body fall endlessly until pulling the
ripchord.

Being lifted to heaven every time, sincerely
and faithfully going into the atmosphere, leaving
all stress to the universe, leaving me alone to
live.

This is a timely poem that you just wrote today and I NEED a POEM that addresses STRESS in our fragile lives. I could feel in my body that sudden snap in the third stanza when the chute yanked me upward, away from my worldly problems which were stunted off to the Universe to contain, if not resolve. And I; m floating right now in what Whitman called when he was once stressed - PERFECT BLISS! Thanks much!
