Do you remember the time where we felt free?
Remember those days where we felt like we could do anything?
Those times where we felt alive and not so alone
Not so afraid of what the future might bring

We were so young and those were the days of make believe
Where we made up almost anything
Remember those times at school passing notes around the room?
I know you remember those days

Thinking back now the time just passed us on by
Never did think all of us would go our seperate ways
We were busy wondering about then
Who would have thought that later down the line we would feel broken and confused

That one day we would have to deal with life
But do you remember in primary school
During recess we would jumprope with our friends
Because back then we hardly had any enimies

Cinderella dressed in yellow, yeah I know you remember that jumprope song
Can't believe we are all grown up now
Things have changed, life as changed
Here I am remembering those days

Here I am sitting here wondering and wishing that life was like those days again
Years has passed us by and now we are all grown up
Wondering if you remember those days like I do
What was great and wonderful back then is now just plain memories
