Remember This: Poem by Randy McClave

Remember This:

Remember this, God made the soul eternal
And not it's jar,
Our afterlife will either be in paradise or an infernal
So, I wear a seatbelt in the car.
I will not ever take any chances
And I will not ever live with worry or any fears,
I have many more books and dances
And I want to live at least for a few more years.
Whenever it is flu season
I will always take my shot,
To my belief there is also rhyme and reason
With a sickness or a virus I don't want to be caught.
I don't want to get any person sick
Especially my family and my friends and neighbors,
I don't want to be known as a stupid uncaring dipstick
Remember this, we all are remembered by our labors.
I won't leave my house if I have a fever
Nor will I leave my house if I have a cough or a cold,
I am not a liar or a deceiver
I just want to be and stay healthy and also grow old.
God, I will always obey and listen to
And I also listen to the doctors and the physicians,
The lord gave them the gift for what they to do
Saving life's and curing diseases are their missions.
Every law I always do obey
Because I don't want to go to prison or jail,
Laws and doctors are here to protect me, then okay
Remember this, Heaven is eternal but, so is Hell.
