Remembering Love Poem by Sandra Feldman

Remembering Love

Rating: 5.0

Flowing in the clouds of time,
Thru skies not very blue,
Lost among the endless stars,
Thoughts bring me back to you.

The one I ever loved so much,
To whom was always true,
My spirit and my lonely heart,
Forever-love, Adieu.

I agree with RoseAnn this poem is in a minor key. I suspect the loss of this love was due to something intractable because the imagery surrounding its expression is still so pure and fresh. It can't have withered over time because the passion lessened. It must have been forcibly taken away, but still is present as a beautiful memory. And that memory will last as long as the human heart.

Beautifully romantically, melancholy! A perfect mixture of feelings composing an intense truth of loss that touches the heart. Somehow sensing that it's written in E flat minor in my mind. Beautiful soft rhythm. Love it! Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
