Remembering Yesterdays Of Living Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Remembering Yesterdays Of Living

Thinking in rhythms of the good ol' U.S.A., remembering
yesterdays of living in quiet renditions of our National
anthem and Pledge of Allegiance.

Crowds of people from different races, cultures and nation-
alities all as one voice, singing with smiles on our faces,
feeling our freedom with every note being played.

Enjoying the diversity of humanity, all of us united as one
in the beauty and intensity of music, children happy, living
in a world that was carefree and positive.

Loving childhood along edges of entertainment that took every-
one into the wonder of life as we kept singing in recognition
of one another's feelings as we talked and came together.
