As I kissed the fading stars in your eyes
they grew wet with emotions of love
like shiny drops of dew on yellow leaves;
you whispered your heart out like a dove,
crooned for hours in rafters of my chest,
the barks of your crumpled body held
many secret pearls at heart's old behest
with love deep a spell my soul did wield,
I felt your desires merge into the pool
in my eyes muddy with random lust,
as I held you like handful of warm sands
slipping thro' my fingers into sad dust;
loving you is like playing with embers
of an old fire, swallowing life out of gears.
