ropes of guilt strangle the heart
mountains of regret drown the soul
these burdens are too many
this is all piling too high
past ideas linger there
many memories cant be forgotten
it is like all this heavy guilt,
all this unforgiving regret,
is wrapping like a rope tight around the heart
and drowning the soul
the hardening heart exists no longer
it has been strangled to its death.
the drowned soul can speak no more
cause it can no longer take a breath.
