Sandstorm Poem by John Powell

Sandstorm

lost and wandering
searching for the way
your face appears but gone
there for me and back to you
gritty mouth seeks an easy drink
no drink so easy as you
lost for weeks but only moments
back to where I came but not right
compass points only to you
spinning but to nothing
a thousand miles of brown
one for you
