Shattered Dreams Poem by Ratnakar Mandlik

Shattered Dreams

Rating: 5.0

I mingled my entiry
With hope and anxiety
With that of my beloved
To be in celestial abode.

I sought from my dream girl
Companionship, joy & thrill.
I would suceed I did think
And here I was full sunk.

Joy of oneness remained partial,
Soon nothing was celestial.
Egos colloided every where,
Happiness existed no where.

I dreams I had nurtured,
My dream girl had shattered.

How complex love can be when we're with the wrong person! Egos can cause so much unhappiness, so well written Ratnakar!
