Show Me That Picture Again Poem by Nigel Cutter

Show Me That Picture Again

When the wild days are over
and the night becomes a blink
one day merges to another
and you've no time to think
wheres it all gone
wheres it all gone

The young have grown
and gone now
but visit from time to time
they bring a generation
that leave you far behind
your the last in line
your the last in line

All to soon the Autumn
when things begin to change
leaves like birds on winter wood
what d'ya say
show me that picture again

When the wild days are over
and the night becomes a blink
one day merges to another
and you've no time to think
wheres it all gone
wheres it all gone

When the wild times
are memories
the day's you'd happily live again
make you smile make you wonder
when you've time to think
where did it all go
where did it all go

The young have grown
and gone now
but visit from time to time
they bring a generation
that leave you far behind
your the last in line
your the last in line.

All to soon the Autumn
when things begin to change
leaves like birds on winter wood
what d'ya say
show me that picture again
