The clock struck six thirty
The remote ran towards me
It was time for my favorite show
Which had started a year ago
I jumped onto the hard couch
And yelled a little ‘ouch’
I switched the TV on
And I heard my sisters all groan
They snatched the remote from me
Without hearing any of my plea
I screamed out very loud
And made myself a crowd
At last victory was mine
And everything went fine
Until the electricity gave a cough
And the TV went off
Wow! this poem reminds me a bit of Spike Milligan's work, a fantastic ending to a clever poem.
this poet is really talented to write for us, worth to read, she seized the World of poetry Without hearing any of my plea I screamed out very loud And made myself a crowd At last victory was mine And everything went fine
