Shower the love

Love was never a condition
But relation
That posed no question
But we failed in its retention

Have we become cheap?
Unconcerned to keep
As major tool
To make headway for being successful

What does it cost?
Mere two words
Hello and hi for address
With little smile on face

Let us not be miser
And offer
With kind words
"Lovely you "with good deeds

Even if I am miser
I shall still be wiser
To whisper
"lord shower the love"

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

It is the hour when from the boughs
The nightingale's high note is heard;
It is the hour -- when lover's vows
Seem sweet in every whisper'd word;
And gentle winds and waters near,
