Sleep Soundly Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Sleep Soundly

Rating: 5.0

Try to sleep soundly within your domicile,
You, who feel that your life is falling apart,
Don't let any sorrowful or dismal yesterdays
Disrupt the peace lying in your heart?

Don't let any thoughts of tomorrow interrupt
With worrisome problems or becoming ill?
Trust in God and seek his spiritual guidance,
And faith will aid you to fulfill your will.

Cast aside your problems and the world's,
Extinguish each glaring and gaudy light.
The stars will shine nightly in the sky above.
Stop fretting! Sleep tight! Have a restful night!
