Soclose Poem by Ted Sheridan

Soclose

Rating: 5.0

You are asleep in that old chair of mine
your hair frames your face the way that
my mind frames my love of you
i notice that your hands are in the pockets
of the jacket you wear
my nose is cold
i want to wake you
i feel soclose to you at this moment
i want to kiss you
but i know that i won't
the air in this room is so cold
and you look like a spring day
your scent is that of a flower
i want to taste the nectar of your love
but must be content to only smell
my favorite flower
you are so beautiful
as you dream your dreams of spring
in that old chair of mine
