Some Time Some Place We Dream Our Dreams And Leave A Trace

Sometimes there is more
To the inviting shores – I believe
I picked up a seashell
In the warmth of Langkawi and
Carried it home
So when I wear a pearl, I remember
Time her lustre brings
The ocean’s truth – each dewdrop is ourself
Like crystal tears doth melt and reflect
As the guitar strings vibrate
Each note her intensity co-operates
Our fingers close on … while the chord is plucked
As a rhythm moves spreading the message
We feed on the music of Love and Wine
Yes… we need music to unite the world
But more still our words to tie it down
Come let’s gather the seashells
On the shores of our lives
Wipe the tears that fall – wear a pearl!
Remember – time its lustre brings
So it is with love that sheds light
And drives our fear and strife
It battles our doubts
Like the wind tosses the sea about
‘V’ a sign for victory
Ever stand for peace our choruses ring
Join the unison blend and sing
We must wear it on our wings
Like a Langkawi
Man we are meant to fly
Let’s do it while there is yet food
In our hearts to feed
And songs in our souls to wine
Its quite divine taste will sparkle flames.
Peace will follow close to our heels
It will run the course of our race
Sprint on… take a lesson or two from nature
In her a million years abide
She only does replenish, guarding all
Closely tied to each other, united
Then our guitars will strum to winds of time and change.
Peace will rule our minds and
Fear be banished to hell. It must feel
Like Langkawi cheers!
