Sonnet 26 Poem by doug bentley

Sonnet 26

Rating: 5.0

the coming of that lawless hour anarchic
before advent of celestial beauty,
when mystic tactility new magic
produces, outer space inspiring telepathy

and new myth making to band civilizations -
terrestrial space axis and polar star
disconnecting intellect from intuitions -
a time of retribalizations at light speed war,

is value reformation in modern translation
producing new image of Man. the modern age
new renaissance precedes. by communication
romantic reach recovers classic grasp of sage.

everything at end, caught up in Intelligence,
nothing's exempt from act of mystic guidance.

We donot know what is in store for mankind! When intelligence is totally divorced from intuition, ofcourse there will be a new image of Man? Won't he be then like a brute or a beast! Before' the advent of celestial beauty', what all changes await man! A pervasive glance into time and a prudent glimpse into the faraway future! A great sonnet!
